In honor of the downpour outside [and, er, to amuse my own self at 10 in the morning ... why the fuck am I up this early?] here is my top 5 Rainy Day Songs list:

5. "Talk Tonight" - Oasis. It's just Noel and a guitar, the way it should be.
4. "North Marine Drive" - Ben Watt. Suitably mellow. If the rain don't lull you to sleep, his gentle voice will.
3. "Rainy Day" - Guster. I just put that in there to be funny. Ha ha.
2. "My Cherie Amour" - Stevie Wonder. The la-la-las are particularly effective when you sway back and forth.
1. "Nice Day for a Sulk" - Belle&Sebastian. Quel appropos! Okay, I have no idea if that's a real French phrase. Probably not.
